چکیده
Consider the population model with infinite size associated to subcritical continuous-state branching processes (CSBP). We study flow of ancestral lineages as time goes past and show that, properly renormalized, it converges almost surely inverse a drift-free subordinator whose Laplace exponent is explicit in terms mechanism. The shown be partitioning current into families distinct common ancestors. When Grey’s condition satisfied, comes from discrete set ancestors have i.i.d. sizes distributed according quasi-stationary distribution CSBP conditioned on non-extinction. not continuum which described increase points S limiting subordinator. proof based general result for stochastically monotone independent interest, relates θ -invariant measures functions process its Siegmund dual.

Do early branching lineages signify ancestral traits?
A reverence for ancestors that has pre-occupied humans since time immemorial persists to the present. Reconstructing ancestry is the focus of many biological studies but failure to distinguish between present-day descendants and long-dead ancestors has led to incorrect interpretation of phylogenetic trees. This has resulted in erroneous reconstruction of traits such as morphology and ancestral ...

We consider a branching model in discrete time where each individual has a trait in some general state space. Both the reproduction law and the trait inherited by the offsprings may depend on the trait of the mother and the environment. We study the long time behavior of the population and the ancestral lineage of typical individuals under general assumptions, which we specify for applications ...

We consider branching processes in discrete time for structured population in varying environment. Each individual has a trait, which belongs to some general state space and both the reproduction law and the trait inherited by the offsprings may depend on the trait of the mother and the environment. We study in this paper the long time behavior of the population and the ancestral lineage of typ...
